How to Make a ‘Star Wars’ Sequel Without the ‘Star War’ Film
This week, EW is looking at some tips to make your own “Star Wars” sequel without the “Star War” film.

First, we take a look at how to get around the “franchise” of the first film without using the name of the film or any of its stars.
You’ll also hear about the process of creating a “Star wars” sequel from scratch, and how to avoid spoilers about what happens in the upcoming “StarWars” film (which opens March 17, 2019).
(Spoiler: It’s pretty bad.)
But first, the obligatory “Star” trivia: How did the first Star Wars movie come to be?
And why is there a franchise?
Star Wars: The First Jedi (1977) tells the story of Han Solo, a boy who became a Jedi Master.
Before he could join the Jedi Order, he was kidnapped by a band of thugs who had escaped from the infamous Death Star.
In the ensuing years, the band kidnapped Solo’s father, Han Solo.
It was at this point that Han and his uncle Luke Skywalker met in a cave on Tatooine.
(Han later becomes a smuggler and joins the Rebellion.)
The movie’s cast included Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Andy Serkis, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Kenny Baker.
(I’ll talk more about the cast and crew in a bit.)
The film’s cast was comprised of: Harrison Ford (Han Solo) The original star of the “Return of the Jedi,” Harrison Ford starred as Han Solo in the first five “Star Tours” films and the “Han Solo” films.
He would go on to appear in the next three “Star Trains” films as well as “StarTrek: The Next Generation.”
He also voiced a child in the 2009 television series “Lost.”
Carrie Fisher The actress who played Princess Leia in the original “Star Voyages” movies, Fisher also starred in several episodes of “Star Treks.”
She also appeared in a 2004 episode of “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
Adam Driver Adam Driver played Han Solo’s uncle Luke in the “The Empire Strikes Back” films, as well in “The Return of the Republic” and “Return to Yavin.”
He played Luke in “Starwars” and later starred in the 2008 “Star Blazers.”
He has also appeared on screen in several television series and films.
Andy Serkin Andy Serkins played Han, the young rebel pilot in the previous two “Star-Wars” movies.
He also appeared as a bounty hunter in “Return To Yavin,” as well.
Adam Driver Andy Serks appeared in the 2007 television series, “Lost,” as Han’s father in the episodes “The Clone Wars” and the episode “Return.”
He was also featured as the father of Chewbacca in the Star Wars films.
Carrie Fisher Carrie Fisher appeared as Leia’s sister, Princess Leia, in the second “Startreks” film, “The Force Awakens.”
She was also a minor character in the 2011 TV series, ‘Beverley Hills, 911’ (although she is voiced by Carrie Fisher herself in the episode, “Duel.”
Adam Daynard Adam Dayntin, who played Luke Skywalker’s father Luke in films such as “The Phantom Menace” and other television series including “Starlog,” is also the voice of Luke Skywalker in “Episode VI: Return of The Jedi.”
Adam Baker Adam Baker played Han in “A New Hope,” and he reprised his role as Han in the 2004 television series: “Lost.”
Andy Serky Andy Serken, who voiced Luke Skywalker, was also seen in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
The character was played by actor Adam Daynney.
Carrie Ann Landry Carrie Ann was a child actress who appeared in films including the 2004 children’s film, The Little Mermaid, as Belle.
Carrie was also in the 2006 film, Little Mermaid.
Andy Salsberg Andy Sinsberg appeared in “Lost in Space” as Prince Hal.
Carrie Anne Moss Carrie Ann Moss was also the actress who portrayed the Princess Leia Organa in the new films “The Princess Bride” and Star Wars Rebels.
She was in the 2002 TV series “The X-Files.”
Andy Serko Andy Serkovsky was the voice actor for Darth Vader in the films “Star Destroyer,” “Return” and also in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
The character’s character was voiced by George Lucas.
Carrie Organa Carrie Organas was a princess from the original Star Wars trilogy.
Carrie and her sister Leia were kidnapped by the Emperor and raised in the Imperial capital of Mustafar by the Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Carrie married Darth Vader and became a Sith Lord, eventually becoming the Emperor’s apprentice.
Carrie became a Padawan at the age of 12.
