Microsoft and Apple will unveil their next-gen VR headset for the Oculus Rift and Touch later this year, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The devices will support the next generation of the Oculus Touch motion controllers and are expected to be unveiled later this month.
The announcement comes after Apple revealed its own first-generation headset for its iPhone X in June.
The iPhone X has a resolution of 3840 x 2160, a pixel density of 2160 per pixel and a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel display.
Apple’s first-gen headset, the Oculus Pro, will reportedly be powered by the same 12-core Intel processor found in the iPhone X, with up to 16GB of RAM.
The device will have a price tag of $999.
